Frequently asked questions What is the level of intimacy at your workshops? There will be some simple techniques such as a holding hands, giving someone a shoulder massage or a hug and some eye gazing. Some self-pleasuring techniques demonstrated will include genital touch, however, there is no oral or penetrative sex permitted. Anyone who attempts to cross this boundary or who doesn’t respect someone else’s boundaries in any of the exercises will be asked to leave the workshop. The emphasis is really on energetic transmission rather than physical. Do I have to be nude? No. You can be fully clothed, in underwear or nude if you are comfortable with that. What if I don’t want to do one of the exercises?Consent, especially self-consent, is a core value of this practice. We honour your “no” as much as your “yes.” While we encourage you to explore your edges, self-compassion is key—it’s always okay to observe or opt out of any exercise if you’re not comfortable or ready. What time should I arrive? Please arrive 10-15 mins before the class so you can settle in. We will lock the doors 15 mins after the start time and don’t allow late comers. This is to ensure that everyone has heard and agreed to the group Tantra agreements, creating safety within the group. Who is this event for? We’re proud to be a queer-friendly and gender-inclusive space. This workshop welcomes all who identify as GBTQ+ men —regardless of relationship status, age, or background. Everyone is invited to explore Tantra in a supportive and inclusive environment. Do I need a partner?Nope. You can come solo, or bring a friend or partner if you like. Tantra is all about personal growth and connection, so whether you’re flying solo or attending as a duo, you’ll get a transformative experience that’s just for you. If I have a partner can I stay with them for the exercises?Yes, you’re welcome to stay with your partner that you came with, however, we will be switching partners throughout the event and invite everyone to participate in this so you can get the most out of the experience. Everything in the workshop is invitational, so you’ll always choose what feels right for you and practice self-consent. I’ve never been to a Tantra class before—is this beginner-friendly?Yes. This class is designed to be welcoming for all levels, especially beginners. Michael will introduce Tantra fundamentals step-by-step, so you’ll feel supported and comfortable as you explore. Just bring your curiosity and an open mind. I’ve been to lots of Tantra classes—will I still get value from this?Absolutely. Even if you’re experienced, this workshop offers something unique. Tantra has endless layers, and each session is an opportunity to dive deeper. Approaching with a beginner’s mindset, you’ll discover new insights and nuances that take your practice to the next level. What happens if I book and I can no longer attend the event? Please be aware that we have a strict no refunds policy, so please be mindful of this when booking the event.

PLEASE NOTE, WE’RE BACK AT BETHNAL GREEN WORKING MEN’S CLUB FOR THIS ONE. Dear Lolas, We’re launching another season of petardeo, amigas, and chicxs guapxs to bring sunshine, community, and chorizo to London city, and we’re doing so at a very special venue: Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club. Our former home, a venue that has been on sale for developers and real estate over the last year and a half, but has managed to resist defending our community and their ethos. Its doors are open for now, we don’t know for how long, but we want to help them resist with a one-off Lady Olé comeback. On top of that, this party is kicking off ‘A Decade Of Love’, a series of special parties to celebrate our 10th year in the scene. LADY OLE presents BITCH, I’M BACK. As a way to celebrate our history with the venue and Lady Olé‘s own heritage, this event will feature DJ sets from long-time residents Larga DJ & Alejandro Asencio AKA ‘Los Alejandros’ with a special selection making a nod to their origins together at Pelucas y Tacones. If you loved those days, and that music, make sure to join us for this nostalgia trip down megahit lane. Performances on the night will come from Dramala Tina and Lola McQueen. ACCESSSadly, The Divine is currently not fully accessible. The new venue offers great opportunities to house most of our events but currently it is in need of some accessibility improvements, and we are actively working with consultants to ascertain what is needed and will be beginning a plan to upgrade accessibility as soon as we are up and running. We will be keeping our community up to date on progress via this site and our social media channels.Wheelchair AccessThe Ground floor bar is at street level and there are no steps to enter and the main door is wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs. The pavement outside The Divine is wide and spacious enough for drop offs and pick-ups.ToiletsThere are no toilets on the ground floor, they are all on the lower level. The nearest wheelchair accessible toilet is at Nandos, approximately 2 minutes down the road at 148 Kingsland High Street.
