Desert Days Presents Ultra Load: The Gay Village

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, right?

Desert Days Presents Ultra Load: The Gay Village

Taking place 16–18 May at Alexis Park All Suite Resort, Desert Days is creating an immersive space for over 3,000 queers within the Electric Daisy Carnival weekend.

Ultra Load: The Gay Village kicks off on 16 May, with DJs Brad Lee and Nick Stracener setting the tone poolside, followed by high-energy beats from Derek Monteiro and Sam Gee in Jungle Room.

On Saturday, 17 May, Erik Vilar and Hector Fonseca take over the pool, while host Joshua Flores and DJ Jon Klaft present Otter Pop Las Vegas in Jungle Room.

Finishing proceedings on 18 May will be Dawna Montell, Dustin and Kipnotik delivering sets at the pool party, before Janky and Sammy Taylor close out the event in Jungle Room.

Electric Daisy Carnival is purportedly the largest electronic dance music festival in North America, drawing hundreds of thousands of attendees to Las Vegas each year. The city of Las Vegas has been missing a dedicated daytime LGBTQ+ space and has never seen one on EDC weekend. Ultra Load is set to change this.

For our podcast, How To Date Men, we caught up with DJ Nick Stracener for a behind-the-scenes look at Ultra Load: The Gay Village.

In the conversation we talk travel, pool parties, and why the men in Vegas are always up for a good time.
